The below chart illustrates the crowds that I have performed for, starting at my very first fifth grade band concert in November 1989 up to March 2006. The bulk of the audience heard me in my college years, when I performed in front of large crowds at athletic events. Although I was either 1 of 40 people (in a basketball band) or 1 of 200 people (in a marching band), very often I would be a soloist. My largest crowd was 93,407 when University of Cincinnati played Ohio State University in football. I had a bari sax solo on Coconut Champagne in this performance, which was highlighted when at the end of the solo I would 'ride' the bari sax like a horse all the way back to my spot on the back of the field.
Through the years I have performed in many groups, ranging from concert, jazz, and marching bands, polka, ska, church choir, jazz combos, 50's Rock, open mic duets, and blues jams.
