May 20, 2008 - I didn't have a whole lot going on today. During the morning it was rainy. Back in Ohio I didn't like rainy days because they tended to last several days. Down here in Florida a rainy day usually means half an hour to maybe 2 hours of rain. It's much easier to deal with small bouts of rain than extended storms, and it helps cool everything off and saves me from watering the plants in the yard. In the evening Ellie and I went to the gym, and then we cooked up some pizza for dinner. Neither of us had plans for the evening so we ended up staying in to watch American Idol. This is probably only the 5th time I've ever seen the show. With the little amount of tv I watch, I usually watch Food Network or HGTV, so it is strange for me to veer off into new programming.
