May 19, 2008 - Back to work on Monday. Ellie and I had plans to go to my parents after work for dinner. I was expecting steak, since that it what we eat 90% of the time I go over there for dinner, but they switched it up on me and made tacos. We played shuffleboard after dinner and then Ellie and I went to the gym just before it closed at 9 PM. By this time the doggies were all worked up and missed us so we took them across the street to play at the school board. They have this new favorite game they like to play called 'play in the shrubbery'. There are a bunch of little 'medians' in the school board parking lot filled with landscaping. One of them has this grassy brush that is about as tall as they are when they are laying down. They recently discovered that they can run into this stuff and lay down and then surprise the other dog by jumping up. It also forces them to jump around to move about in this stuff, which they both seem to enjoy. That was enough activity for the day.
