March 31, 2008 - Back to Monday. I consider Monday as the 'reset' day of the week. Everything that happened prior to today is erased, and you get a fresh start. You have 7 days to do something, and if it doesn't work out, next Monday everything will reset again. The last week was marred by being sick, so it is fitting that I am feeling much better today, on Reset Monday. Not much happened today early on, but in the evening it got exciting. Mike came over after he got off work. There has been lots of talk among Ellie, Mike, and I about going to the new Irish Pub called O'Boobigans. What a concept. They take a name that sounds Irish, and they dress the girls up like the girls at Hooters or Wing House. But instead of beating around the bush with a name like "hooters", they just come right out and have the word boob in their name. The building is awfully suspicious. It is located between 2 strip clubs, but everything looks on the up and and up from the street, so we decided to brave it and check it out. There is an outside bar and inside bar. When we got there, there was a big group of guys outside sitting at the bar and no one inside, so we decided to sit outside. These guys were in town from Indiana, probably working some construction job. They were clearly planning on visiting at least one, if not several, strip clubs tonight. They kept us amused while they were at the bar, and the bar staff was equally entertaining. Because of their close proximity to the strip clubs, it became obvious that the bar staff has a little more inside information about strip clubs than your regular bar and grill staff. Being a Monday night, we were only there til about 10:30, and then it was time to go home and go to bed.
