March 25, 2008 - I spent half the day in the office and half out on the road delivering tri-folds and trying to get people interested in our company. While I was out I had to stop to go to the bathroom, so I found a McDonalds. I always feel guilty about using a places bathroom without making a purchase. I know this is silly, since I've likely spent tens of thousands of dollars with McDonalds over my lifetime, so I am a customer, whether I make a purchase that time or not. But still, I felt like I should buy something, so I got their 2 Big Mac's for $3. I didn't need 2 Big Mac's. In fact, I didn't even need 1. But the deal was so compelling compared to 1 Big Mac for $2.54 that I couldn't pass it up. I gobbled one of them up, and saved the other. I figured I would get rid of the other one sometime later. As I was driving around I drove past a homeless guy with a sign, and I held the McDonalds bag out the window. He looked happy to get it. I don't know if he ended up eating it or not but it made me feel good that I was able to help someone out.
