January 26, 2008 - I decided to spend most of the day at home, cleaning up the garage and the yard. I cleared out 'the jungle' on the other side of the garage. The garbage can was completely filled by the time I was done. I pulled all the weeds, cut down the overgrown bushes, and threw away a bunch of old lumber scraps and other junk. I used some of that lumber to make a stand for my canoe. Now it can sit up off the ground, which should help it last longer. I also organized the recording studio and my workshop. By the time I was done with all this, it was around 4 PM and I was hungry. Ellie brought me a Chipotle burrito to reward my hard work. We took a nap after 'lunch' and eventually decided to drive to Tampa to walk around the mall. I got some new black pants, and then we had dinner at Bamboo Club. I was so full from the burrito only 4 hours ago, but I still couldn't fathom not ordering the spicy chicken and chocolate cake. I took half of the chicken home, and we split the cake, but it was worth it cause the cake (chocolate meltdown) is awesome.
