January 15, 2008 - The internet kept me busy at work today, except for good rather than evil. I was doing lots of work related research on submetering. Throughout the day I worked up a business feasibility plan for us to offer water submetering. It was a fun project. I had to step out at 4 PM when Jamie showed up, so that we could go to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and audition for Jeopardy. Unfortunately, they were only taking the first 1000 people, and we were person 2500 in line. The thing was supposed to run from 5 til 7, but people had been lining up since 2 PM. Jamie and I each lost $1 in the slot machines, and then he took me back to work. I hung out there for a while longer, and then went home to grill up my second delmonico steak. This one wasn't quite as good as the last one since it had more fat, but it was still good. I went to my parents house to do some computer diagnostics and then went back home to go to sleep.
