January 12, 2008 - Since we were out late last nite, it was nice sleeping in til about 10 AM today. Ellie left for a memorial service for one of her former co-workers, and I got called by Casey to go to the dog park at Walsingham Park. We met there, and the dogs enjoyed running around. Jake and Bailey of course spent a lot of time going up to all the people and trying to sit on their laps. The other dogs all like just running around non-stop, but my dogs seem to like people more. I went home and had some cheese and crackers for lunch. Later in the day Ellie and I went to Applebees in Safety Harbor for her grandpa's 79th birthday dinner. Applebees has changed its menu and now has a pretty good deal. You pick an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert, and it is about $12. I had the boneless buffalo wings, fiesta lime chicken, and the oreo mousse dessert. Way too much food...it was so much that when we went to her grandparents house after dinner, I didn't have room for any cake. We took a few pieces to go, though.
