January 11, 2008 - I had a standard Friday at work...up til about 3:45. Then I snuck out early to go to Tampa to play with D'Visitors for Alive after 5. We played for 3 hours, and I made my first trip to The Hub. This is a pretty seedy bar downtown that everyone in my band loves to go to. Lots of the rollerbladers I know frequent this place too. Casey and Jamie came out and caught our last set, and then Ellie showed up at the very end. We went to dinner at Miguels, and tried their chimichanga. It is not nearly as good there as it is at Los Mexicanos. I still need to try the chimichanga at Tequila Flats. Following dinner, we went to Kelly's Pub, also in Tampa, for my second D'Visitors gig of the night. This one seemed to drag on forever, but we finished playing just before 1 AM. It was a long day of work plus two gigs.
