February 8, 2008 - I drove Ellie to work in the morning, then drove to work myself. The day went by pretty slowly for me, but finally the end of the day arrived and I went to pick up Ellie from work. On the way there I stopped at home and picked up the doggies to surprise her. We went home, then went out to pick up Ellie's car over at McDonalds. It was still sitting there, and started just fine. There were a few difficulties to overcome, though. I had to remove the front left turn signal since it was hanging off the car, the bumper had to go into the backseat of the car, and all the way home the wheels rubbed up against the wheel wells which were dangling down. We slowly and safely made it home, and then I called up Casey and Jamie to come over and play Rummikub. Jamie won the first round, but I won the next three, and clinched a large victory. Mike came over and joined us for a while during the game, but after the game was over we sent everyone home so we could go to bed.
