March 18, 2007 - I got woken up by Chris, calling to let me know that the roof wouldn't be worked on until tomorrow. Not a big deal, although I would have preferred to have it done today. I managed to make it out of the house to get donuts around 11 AM, and then started working on a spreadsheet. I put all my actual income and expenses together so that I could see if this is all going to work out. I did a theoretical version of this a few months back, but then I didn't know exactly how much everything was going to cost. Now that I am getting official bills, it is easier to see. The good news is it looks like I didn't buy more house than I can afford, assuming that I don't hit any more major expenses like this roof I am putting on my house. I hooked up my server to the internet today and started uploading files. I was able to load up alot of it, but not everything. Once I get everything up to date, I'll be able to throw away my server and never have to worry about its problems again. Ellie and I went to Las Mexicanas for dinner down on Indian Rocks Beach. This place is right next door to the Lighthouse Donuts Coffee and More place that we go to every Sunday, and we kept saying we should go check it out. Well, today was that day. It turned out to be owned by the same person who owns both Los Mariachis restaurants. I liked this particular one the best, but Ellie is loyal to the original in Clearwater.
