June 5, 2007 - Ellie and I met up with Mike and LeAnne to go to Kings Island. I hadn't been there in several years, and this was the first I had paid to get in for an even longer time. We rode Top Gun, and then while standing in line for Delerium it started to rain. We ended up riding it in the rain, and then got an early lunch of LaRosas Pizza in the Festhaus. The rain stopped while we were eating, which worked out perfectly. We spent the rest of the afternoon riding the backwards Racer, Flight of Fear, the Firehawk, Vortex, Zephyr (the swings), Shake Rattle and Roll, Spongebob Squarepants, Tomb Raider, and the Beast. By this time we had all been shaken up enough and went to Penn Station for dinner. Kavia and Chris left for Boston earlier in the day, so we would have been home alone, but Jake came down from Columbus and we went out on an adventure with him. First we went to Mount Adams. We stopped at the Pavilion but it was dead, so we had a drink at the Blind Lemon. Then we went downtown to the Blue Wisp, which was closed Tuesdays, so we went to Arnolds. Arnolds was dead, so we went to O'Malley's in the Alley. After a while we headed back to Loveland to go to sleep.
