April 27, 2007 - I didn't get nearly as much done at work as I was hoping to in the morning. This lead to lunch time. I brought my lunch today but Tammie spoke so highly of this place called Smitty's that I had to try it. I ended up splitting a "steak hoagie" with Bev. My interpretation of a steak hoagie was based on my experience at LaRosas. What Smitty's called a steak hoagie ended up being what I call a Philly Cheesesteak. It wasn't very good, so I'm glad I ended up splitting it with Bev. After lunch I was in training for my new job responsibilities and then I finished up the work day by putting together the weekly inventory sheet. I went home and met up with Mike for disc golf at Taylor. After a reasonably quick round I went home and picked Ellie up to go out to dinner. We went to a great pizza place called Cristino's on South Fort Harrison Road. This is probably the best pizza I've had in FL. The sauce, crust, and cheese were all perfect. They made their own gelato there too, and it was great. I'm going to have to learn how to make gelato. To finish out the night, Ellie and I went to Cerviche's in St Petersburg to meet up with Erica. She was meeting up with some guy and didn't want to be alone with him, so I came out to show some support. The bar was ridiculously loud, Erica was drunk, and the guy was kinda slimy. Ellie and I snuck out while they were dancing.
