January 6, 2006 - On the longest day of the cruise (it is actually an hour longer than the rest of the week because we sail through a time zone) I had a few things to keep me busy. In the morning we did our farewell show, and then at noon we practiced for the evenings show. The 'man of 1001 voices', Bill Accosta, had us play music for him to sing to. I played soprano in this show, to cover the trumpet part. I had to quickly make my way to the art auction, which I worked at until about 3:30. The auctioneers had a great week this week, especially compared to the past two weeks. They cleared over $110,000 worth of sales, which will probably earn each of them about $2000 for the weeks worth of work. The evening culminated in the two shows with Bill Accosta, and I winded things down in the Crows Next listening to Cruise Control play their final set of the cruise.
