February 18, 2006 - I begin my last week of cruising today. I started things off in San Diego, walking to the library as usual. The walk today was really tough because of my infured foot, but luckily my foot has healed up a little so it wasn't all pins and needles the whole way there. Just part of the way. Back on the ship we set sail and I played my last sailaway from San Diego set. The new music director came up while we were playing and sat in on one song. He didn't even ask what song we were going to play first, he just offered to play. He is by far the best piano player I have ever worked with, and I knew it after just one song. This is going to be a fun last week.
