February 14, 2006 - I don't recall what I did last year for Valentines Day, but I suspect it was not very much. This year, I didn't do anything particularly special because I am stuck on a ship with my girlfriend 3000 miles away. There was a nice surprise about today. The rehearsal we usually have in the late morning was moved to 5:15 PM, meaning I had all morning and afternoon to go out in Mazatlan. Unfortunately, I hurt my foot running yesterday and I can't do that much walking, and I don't have any sunscreen left, so I didn't want to go out in the sun for a long period of time. I spent the day at my usual internet cafe. Late in the evening, after calling Lauren, playing a few shows, and getting some free wine from Marco of the art auction, I played a dice game called 10,000 with Joel, Tilly, and Harry.
