April 12, 2006 - I had a regular morning at the office working on odds and ends, as they are assigned to me. I like the fact that it is a small office because it gives me the chance to shine on all kinds of assignments. Since there are only a few people to give assignments to, most people are crosstrained on everyone elses job to fill in when needed. I think this scenario will give me the opportunity to advance. I had an afternoon appointment with a company to sell them ExecGo. The presentation went great, and I asked them "have I done my job in winning your travel business?" The answer was "Yes, but I am going to review all the information for the next three weeks and get back to you." Well, when I got back to the office, I sent an email telling them they would get a 3 week free trial of our service. Why not have them start booking travel and getting used to it rather than taking 3 weeks to forget about everything? In the evening I went home and didn't do very much other than sit around. My rib cage still hurts from when I fell skating a week or two ago. I think I aggrivated the injury I got playing indoor soccer over a year ago, and it will take a while for the rib to heal up.
