The blues performances kept me busy at night, but I also kept busy with a new friend in Tampa, Linda Mase, who became my kayaking partner. She owns two kayaks, and loaned one to me for the entire summer. We went out many times on the Hillsborough River, and I also took it out to Weeden Island, Caladesi Island, and down by Treasure Island. I'm looking forward to someday owning my own kayak.
