May 17, 2005 - Today was a serious trip towards finding a cruise ship job. I attended a job recruiting event by NCL in Tallahassee. It was a good experience, although it entailed driving 300 miles each way with my mom. The other people in the room with me didn't seem to have their act together, and the recruiter knew it. I enjoyed the presentation and had a good conversation with the recruiter. She took my resume and CD and is going to send it down to Miami for it to be reviewed by the correct person. I hope this turns into something good, but I just don't know how well my CD and resume stacks up to other cruise ship musicians.
