March 14, 2005 - Word travels fast. I don't think it is a phenomenon at my company. I think it is a societal fact. I told my boss and two other people at work that I quit my job on Friday. I come back into work on Monday and nearly everyone knows. I didn't really want to walk around and tell many people because I figured that it would get around with or without my help. I don't think it is reassuring or reflecting on anything about me. I see it happen with every 'secret' that isn't really a secret. Such is life...
