June 9, 2005 - I got up and went kayaking with Linda today. She met me at Maximo Park in St. Pete, a place that I like to play disc golf. This was my first time kayaking in the rain. I had a great time even though I got completely soaked. Normally I don't like being out in the rain. Being on the water made it different, since I was already getting wet, and the rain wasn't very cold. At least, it wasn't cold until I got out of the rain and stood around waiting for it to pass. We watched some horseshoe crabs that were hanging out under a bridge. This appeared to be the major breeding ground for them. There had to be at least 20 within easy site of where we were standing. Linda then went out with me to dinner and since rollerblading got rained out, we walked around Treasure Island for a bit before I went home and did some more work on my shelves that I am building.
