January 15, 2005 - My phone was ringing off the hook starting at 10 AM until I woke up about an hour and a half later. I started the day with a shower, then got some laundry going, cleaned out my car, and ate lunch. I made my first attempt at playing trombone. Things didn't go so well. I will have a lot of practicing to do to get this thing to sound like a musical instrument and not just a fart reproducing machine. I spent the rest of the day with Christie. I picked her up and we went shopping at Kohls and then took a stroll through the Cincinnati Art Museum. My sister and Chuck came over and we went down to Montgomery Inn. The wait to eat was 2.5 hours, and we waited pretty much ever minute of that. We got there at 6:20 and finished eating right after 10 PM. That was the longest I have ever waited to eat at a restaurant, and I must say I would have enjoyed the food at Dewey's Pizza just as much, so the wait was not worth it to me. After dinner we all went over to Jack Quinn's in Covington to hear Jake Speed and the Freddies. Shawn from my band was there with about 10 of his friends. We went home around midnite.
