January 12, 2005 - I got talked into going to Chipotle for lunch today. I've been eating Chipotle a LOT lately! I was considering getting their hot salsa but didn't. Maybe next time. Brendan drove, and Tara and Joe from work went along. We went to the one in Florence. There is definite need for a Chipotle in Highland Heights. I wish Chipotle would franchise, but they don't. I had a lot of work to get done today but was unable to work very late. I left around 6 so that I could get to Dewey's Pizza at Newport on the Levee to pick up calzones for Maggie Wesley and I, and also dropped off a packet of sheet music with Steve Masters who was playing at Fat Fish Blue. My calzone was pretty awesome. I got pepperoni, sausage, and roasted garlic in it. I think I am addicted to garlic. I brought the calzones to Town and Country Sports Complex in Wilder, KY, so that my soccer team could meet up before our 10:20 game and watch UC play basketball on TV. I wanted to make sure everyone got to our game on time, so since people wanted to watch the game and they would have overwise stayed at home and watched it, I set it up so people could watch at T&C. Our game started on time and took a little longer than usual because a girl seriously hurt her knee in the game. There were lots of instances when people were getting in mini-fights on the field. I was disappointed with the attitude of some of my team members, who seem to think that the other team was causing all of the problems, when it was really a combined effort. I scored a goal, our team won, so we had an overall good season, but we can still do better next session. I went home and went to bed.
