February 23, 2005 - Sometimes it is the small things in life that make a bigger difference. Perhaps the most notable thing today would have been the fact that I played in a band that won our round of the talent contest at Fat Fish Blue and advanced to the next round. Maybe it would be the 45 people who showed up to support me. Actually, it was after the gig, on my way home, when I stopped for dinner. The biggest surprise was seeing no cars in the drive through at White Castle. I got excited knowing that I wouldn't have to wait 10 extra minutes to get my dinner. I need to stop eating dinner at 10:30 PM.
