April 8, 2005 - After seeing the Philadelphia Art Museum, I am now completely unimpressed by the Cincinnati Art Museum. Everything that is on display at the CAM is dwarfed by the quantity and quality of art on display at the PAM. This realization brought back memories of when I watched The Gladiator and there was a scene that showed people first seeing the Colloseum. These people were used to seeing their local arenas, and had no idea that something as spectacular as the Coloseum existed, and it totally blew their minds. I had a similar experience at the PAM. Although I have been to the Chicago Art Museum (this past year) and the Smithsonian (years ago), I was blown away by the magnitude of the PAM.
