April 3, 2005 - I've been experimenting a little more with my cooking lately. Some of it is due to me moving, which means I need to eat everything in my fridge, and more of it has to do with having more time to cook. Tonite I 'fried' up some chicken after marinating it in lemon herb marinade. I cooked some garlic, cooked penne pasta, and then topped it all with a little mozzorella cheese. It was quite good, but could have used a good sauce. I'm not very good at pairing sauces with meals. My food tends to be somewhat dry. I know how to use gravy with mashed potatos, but I can't seem to get anything to go with chicken.
