April 24, 2005 - I had a good Sunday. I went to a new church and the priest was very young, with a lot of energy. The music was all songs that I was familiar with, and I sat next to a very cute girl. Afterwards I helped my sister and her husband paint the house for a few hours, and then finally I got a chance to bike the Pinellas Bike Trail. The trail runs essentially north to south from Tarpon Springs to Saint Petersburg. I rode the southern half of the trail today, starting around Ulmerton Road to the end of the trail, which encompasses about 14 miles of the 43 mile trail. I thought I was going into the wind on the way down, but when I turned around I hit a strong wind in my face. I guess the wind had shifted since yesterday when I did a short ride. This was the longest ride of my life so far, logged in at 32.75 miles round trip. The north half is going to be more difficult since it is a longer distance.
