April 22, 2005 - Indian Rocks Beach is not the nicest beach in the world. The actual beach is only about 20 feet wide from the water to the grass, so there is not much sand to begin with. Add on to that all of the broken shells in the sand and mix in a bunch of other junk in the sand, and you have the ingredients for something less than an ideal beach situation. Still, my cousin and I managed to have fun tossing around a football for a while on the beach. I need to build up my tan for a few days before braving Clearwater Beach, where I'll likely run into many people my age. Better to not look like a tourist when I get there.
