March 9, 2004 – I wasn’t at work yesterday due to travelling and it really came back to bite me today. I had a lot of emails to answer and problems to solve and calls to make and work to do. Whew, I was lucky to get out alive at the end of the day. I didn’t stay particularly late. At the end of the day I met up with Chuck to pick up my taxes, which my dad did for me. He’s been doing my taxes every year since I’ve had to do taxes, which is pretty awesome. On the way home I stopped at my house, picked up some stuff, went to my apartment, then went grocery shopping over at Hyde Park Kroger (HPK). HPK is definitely on a different level than Mitchell Avenue Kroger (Ghetto Kroger, or Kroghetto, depending on your preference). There is a coffee shop, the fruit looks nicer, it is layed out differently, and in general it is cleaner. Kavia called me while I was shopping and invited me up to BW-3 later in the evening. I met Jason, Chris, and Kavia up there after I brought my groceries home. We sat around talking for a while and eventually I had to get home and get to sleep.
