March 27, 2004 - The sun and birds had me awake by 8 AM. I got myself out of bed and into my running shoes by 9 AM, and went for a run through the park. I ran up past the overlook in the park, into Walnut Hills, and then back. The run was about 18 minutes straight, which was further than I had been running earlier. I wasn't really tired, but my legs were sore, so that is why I had to stop. Since I wasn't tired, I put on my rollerblades and skated around the lake for a while. Eventually I got a hold of brett Sova on my phone and we decided to meet up to play disc golf. He suggested I invite Mike Morgan, so I did. Mike came to my apartment, and I drove down to Brett's, picked up Brett, and then went to Banklick Park. This was the first time for both of them to play Banklick. My throwing was just about as good as I could have hoped and I ended up with a 3 over (57) for the round. There were really only three holes that I made mistakes on that cost me from having an even or possibly under par round. My longest throw was on hole 18, which is over 500 feet. I threw most of that length, probably about 425-450 feet, aided by the downhill. We went to TGIFridays for lunch, then over to Brett's for a little bit, before I drove back home, dropped off Mike at his car, and then showered. Brett called and invited me over for dinner. I agreed to meet him later, but first I went up to Mongtomery to get my suit from the Mens Warehouse and then down to Hyde Park to do some grocery shopping. The cutest girls seem to hang out in the natural food and produce sections. I just may have to modify my diet. At Brett's, we watched basketball and eventually Mary Beth came over. Brett cooked up some pasta roni with chicken. I talked Brett and Mary Beth into both joining my indoor soccer team. Brett needed to get some shin guards and shoes so we drove down to Dicks Sporting Goods in Florence. On the way back we stopped at Steak and Shake for milkshakes. I parted with the two of them and drove up to Sneaky Pete's to meet Kavia, Chris, Becca, Rachel, and Kelly. I didn't have anything to drink, but did get in two games of pool with Chris. We lost both games to some really ditzy drunk girl wearing an AC/DC shirt and her boyfriend. Amazingly, the girl was the one making most of the shots. I didn't really feel like staying til close, so I left at 12:30, went home, and went to bed.
