March 26, 2004 - My co-ops last day was today. On the way into work, for the first time this quarter, he ended up behind me on the highway. He was following pretty darn close so I had to give him the old brake tap to get him to back off. I kept busy in the morning at work and by the time lunch rolled around we had come to conclude that we would eat at Ruby Tuesday's. The new co-op coming in for the next quarter, the old co-op going out, my boss, and I ate lunch, and then went back to work. The afternoon was mostly quiet. By the time 5 PM rolled around my boss had snuck out already and I was there thinking about leaving. Since I didn't have any emergencies come up that needed to be handled (is this the first time that's ever happened on a Friday?!), I was out of there by 5:15 PM. I was supposed to meet Julie at my house at 6:30, so I went over there earlier to start packing stuff up. She was going to come over and check out my furniture and see if she wanted to buy any. She didn't end up getting there until just before 8 PM. That made meeting Kavia for dinner at 8 difficult. I called Kavia, told her 8:20, and everything was good. We met at PF Changs in Norwood for dinner. I couldn't find anything without meat in it that I wanted to eat, so I got some spicy chicken and rice. I guess that is my one meal in the Lenten season this year that I broke the rules. It happens just about every year. My original plan for tonite was to go to the Final Friday art show at Pendleton Art Center, but it was too late at this point, so Kavia and I drove up to Blue Ash to meet some of her friends from work at Watson Bros. She told me it would be her friend Rachel (whom I have already met) and Shannon. She said Shannon was pretty cute and single, but Shannon was totally hot. I didn't get to talk to Shannon since she was getting tons of attention already from some other guy that she works with, so it was just me and the expensive Watson Bros beer, while Kavia and Rachel talked. We left pretty early and it was good because I was tired.
