March 21, 2004 - Today was relatively busy, especially for a Sunday. I woke up around 11 AM and by noon I was out of the house with Kim Thompson. We went up to Mt. Adams to eat at Mt. Adams Bar and Grill. Kim really liked this place. Our next stop was Playhouse in the Park. The Playhouse is right next to Mt. Adams. We probably would have walked, but it had gotten so cold today that we drove the half mile and found a closer parking space. We were there to see Blue. I didn't know anything about this play going into it, so my expectations were low. Playhouse was a pretty cool place. I'll have to come up here again. Blue took a long time to really get going. There was this back and forth between acting sketches and someone singing. Finally about 75% of the way through it all came together in the plot and I liked it. Kim dropped me off at home after the play and I drove to church to get some practicing in on my own before the church music practice started. I didn't really get in much time to practice, not as much as I hoped. Maggie Wesley was at church with her friend Carmen. I noticed them at the beginning. The person I was surprised to see at the end of the mass was Adriane Burton. She came up and I invited her to dinner. We ate at Don Pablo's, which used to be my usual after church dinner place with Steve Gentry when he was one of my roommates. It's better taking girls there, though, even though I usually end up paying. I couldn't talk Adriane into coming over and checking out my apartment, but maybe some other time. I went home after a long weekend of fun.
