January 6, 2004 - Tuesdays with Tom...I drove to work in the freezing weather and had a relatively uneventful morning. At lunch I went to O'Charley's with the intention of sitting in a particular woman's section but she was not there today so that was a disappointment. I had a good lunch of soup and salad though, so it wasn't a total loss. On the way back I did some banking and some pharmacy-ing. Then it was a quick afternoon before playing racquetball with Carl. We played three games and I won all three, but it was obvious that Carl had done some practicing since our last match because he was hitting the ball harder and much more accurately. At several points in the three games I thought I was going to lose but found a way to exploit his weaknesses. I showered back at home and then dropped off the Christmas CD I owed to Howie Preston, returning home to clean some of my house. It's going to take me a while to get everything completely cleaned up. The organization in the basement is lacking completely, and upstairs no one helps do anything other than make a mess. My new table cloth and placemats appear to be ruined. I hope I am able to get them clean. LaRosa's Pizza was dinner for me. Around 10:30 I was in bed asleep.
