January 25, 2004 - I couldn't have anticipated todays' uneventfulness ahead of time. On my calendar I had written down a jazz concert at 3PM, church following that, and then dinner with Becky Heine. All activities came to a halt when I woke up and saw snow on the ground. At first it wasn't a big deal. I don't mind driving in snow. Then I sat around looking at houses online and chatting with friends. The snow kept coming! Eventually it was 3PM, and I was supposed to be checking out jazz. I showered and decided against going out. I chatted and surfed some more of the internet, and then found out that church was cancelled. Finally, Becky must have forgotten about our plans (which she seems to do 70% of the time), so I had dinner at home. I mixed in some trumpet and saxophone playing and called it a day.
