January 22, 2004 - I showed up a few minutes after 8 AM to work. This was ok since I was going to stay for a long time after 5 PM in the evening. The day started with the engineering meeting, and then I had lunch with Kim Thompson, my co-op, and numerous people from the lab. We ate at Dewey's Pizza at Newport on the Levee. I worked in the evening until 7:45 PM until I got really hungry. Taco Bell called to me, and I answered by ordering a chili cheese burrito and a beef supreme chalupa. Yum! Unfortunatly, and expectedly, my stomach was not pleased with these choices, and I suffered greatly. I stopped at Meijer and bought a soccer ball, and then drove to T&C to play soccer. By the time the game started my stomach had forgiven all my sins and allowed me to play. My team lost its game. Lori Palmer, who works with me, asked me to play on her team in this game because they were short on players. This team won, and I was seriously tired after the games were through. I took a ball in the stomach during the first game, and then a ball to the leg just outside of my shin guard in the second. By the time I got home it was after 11:30 PM, so I showered and then went to bed.
