January 10, 2004 - I thought I would be the first person out of bed this morning but when I got out to the living room at 11 AM Josh and Suzanna were already awake and looking at pictures on the couch. I went to the basement and started cleaning. It was a complete mess when I started, with stuff everywhere. A few hours later I decided it was time to take a break and run some errands. I started with a shower and then drove to Hyde Park for a hair cut. The girl who cut my hair was particularly talkative. We talked about travel and how her family is going to Canada to go fishing later this year. She didn't let me get too much in. Next up I filled my empty gas tank and then found myself in line at Taco Bell on Ridge, before getting my oil changed some where on Montgomery Road near Kenwood Towne Center. Back at home I did just a little more straigtening up until Barb showed up. Josh, Suzanna, Barb, and I drove up to Tri-County to the Macaroni Grill for dinner. The wait was 65 minutes so we walked over to Best Buy so that I could buy a DVD for us to watch later. I got X2 and Matrix :Reloaded. Dinner took forever but was really good. The best observation tonight is that the house wine at the Macaroni Grill is the best value. They fill up a huge glass and it's only $3.99, which is way better than any other wine (in terms of quantity and price) that I've had at a restaurant. We drove home and watched X2. By the time the movie was over the clock had rolled past midnight. Josh and Suzanna were tired, so Barb and I had some Jaeg and then a beer, and then watched some really cheesy Disney Movie (Angels in the Endzone, not to be confused with Angels in the Outfield), until I went to sleep. Barb camped out on my couch.
