February 6, 2004 - Post-work festivities included going to the Comet to meet my cousins Chris and Derek for dinner. We had the worlds largest burrito's. At least, I'm to assume they are the world's largest, since they are way bigger than a Chipotle burrito, and beyond my consumption limits. Chris was able to finish his, but only as a challenge since I nearly finished mine. We both paid the price all night for the decision to eat so much. Chris and I went over to Northside Tavern to see Jake Speed and the Freddies play. They sounded great, and the place was totally packed. The biggest surprise of the century was the guy:girl ratio at this bar. Usually, bars operate at about 1 girl for every 4 guys, if it is a good night. This place was a solid 50:50. I even counted it twice, because I wasn't beleiveing what I was seeing. I'm definitely coming back here again soon.
