February 27, 2004 – I worked, and then after work was supposed to play racquetball with Carl. He ended up canceling on me, so I ran around the track for a few miles and then went home to get ready for dinner. I drove up to West Chester to pick up Danielle Kenworthy. I didn’t realize it when I was growing up, but apparently I had ridden my bike past her house many times. She lives in the neighborhood across from where I grew up, and I didn’t even know it. We went to Tri-County to eat at the Macaroni Grill. I didn’t really notice until Danielle made it apparent to me that the dining room had changed since she had been there last. Now instead of all tables, there are a mixture of tables and booths. It looks more like a steakhouse than an Italian restaurant. Dinner was great, and we were having a good time so I decided to drive her down to my new apartment to show her where it is. We went over to the Celestial and listened to some good jazz being performed. Ironically, two songs that the singer chose that night were songs that Danielle and I had listened to earlier in the car, from my Diana Krall “Live in Paris” CD. I took Danielle back home and then went back to my house to get to sleep.
