April 9, 2004 - I forgot that Jake was staying at my place when I woke up. Actually, I was startled awake by two phone calls before I was ready to face the world. First I got a call from Mike who wanted to talk about the band that he wants me to join. That call was at 8 AM. The next call was LeAnne at some time before 10 AM and most likely around 8:30 AM, trying to find out if I really wanted to buy a Buddy Card from her. I told her that I did and then I went back to sleep until about 11 AM. I got up, took a shower, and then headed up to Tri-County to meet Grant, Andi, and Chris at LaRosa's for lunch. We then headed over to the mall to get fitted for tuxes for Grant's wedding in July. I had to wait around at the mall for Craig Comisar to show up for his tux fitting, and then after he was done we drove to Harbin Park in Fairfield to play disc golf with Brett Sova. I played well and ended up with a +3 (57) at the end of the game. Brett took off, and Craig and I went down to Burnet Woods to play another round of disc golf. Here I didn't do as well, but ended up with a +2 at the end of the round, which beat Craig's +4 or so. I then drove to St. Bernard to meet up with my parents, sister, Chuck, and some relatives at the St. Bernard Eagles Club for a fish fry. The fish was pretty good and I had a rousing conversation with my uncle Ken about the city of Cincinnati. After a while I drove to my house on Vine and cut the grass since it ws looking pretty shaggy (and this will be the last time I have to cut it ever since I no longer will own the house after Monday). I took some time to walk around Eden Park after dark to take some night photos but I don't think any of the photos came out particularly well. I'll have to bring a tripod in next time.
