April 8, 2004 - Today totally did not feel like the end of the work week. I was walking around all day with the feeling that it was Tuesday or something. I met up with Kevin McGinn for lunch today at Goldstar Chili up in Norwood. The reason for us meeting up was for him to give me the soccer T-Shirts that his company made for my team. They look great, I'm sure my team will like them. I worked pretty late today, staying until about 7:30 PM. I was the last one out of the building that parks in the back lot, and I may have been the last person out of the building other than cleaning crew, but it is hard to tell since some people leave their cars there overnight while traveling. The soccer game started at 8:30 PM. Kevin showed up to play goalie for us and everything was going well into the first half. We were tied 3 to 3, when early in the second half Kevin injured one of his fingers and I ran back to take over the goal. I got three goals scored on me in the next 5 or 6 minutes. I got out of the goal and Anwar took over. We didn't win but it shows that if we have a qualified goalie playing for us we have a chance to win in the future. I went home and showered before going up to the Mad Frog to hang out with Nick Brunck, his sister Denise, and two of her friends, and also Dan who plays hockey with us sometimes. Jake Mecklenborg came into town from Athens and got dropped off in front of the Mad Frog, since he is staying with me tonight. We put his stuff in my car and then went back in the frog. Jake randomly knew a few guys that went to his gradeschool and had a great time talking to them, and I had a good time talking to Nick's crew. I was home around 2 AM and ready for bed.
