April 7, 2004 - The work day was fairly uneventful today. Tim Waters and I went out for lunch so he could show off his new Chevy Silverado to me. The interior reminds me a lot of the S-10 that I used to have. We grabbed some Wendy's on the way back to work. At the end of the work day I went over to NKU to meet up with Shannon from work for some racquetball. I was on top of my game and won three games. Shannon wanted to work out on the exercise equpiment after we were done playing so I went up to the track and ran about a mile and a half. My parents are in town from Florida so I went home, showered, and then drove up to Reading to eat dinner with them. By the time I had gotten there everyone had already eaten but they saved me some food. I ate and then my dad and I went down to my new apartment for me to show it off, and then over to work to pick up his Buick. We stopped at the Party source on the way back to Ohio and he bought a bottle of cheap wine. I like to drink wine when it tastes good, and he likes to drink wine to get drunk. I don't understand the point of drinking to get drunk. I called up my friend LeAnne Carter and found out that she had not eaten dinner yet, so I picked up her favorites - a plain cheeseburger from Burger King, fries and a Coke with no ice from McDonalds, and then went over to her apartment with the food. We sat around reading philosophy (her homework) and then watched TV until it was late and I had to get home to sleep.
