April 17, 2004 - I was able to do quite a bit today even with a wake up time around 11 AM. I got out of bed and went for a run that started at my apartment, through Mt. Adams, down Monestary Street to Third Street, through Sawyer Point, and terminated at the purple L&N Bridge. I rested for a few minutes and then took probably the hardest road back to my apartment conceivable. I went past Adams Landing and discovered a set of stairs that just kept going up until it finally put me out in Mt. Adams. I was walking at this point due to all of the steps, but once I got to the point where I was going downhill again, where I picked up the running back to my apartment. After the run I showered and then drove down to Brett Sova's apartment. We played a round of disc golf at Idlewild. I didn't do quite as well as last week, this time getting a 11 over (83). Brett and I ate lunch at Burger King and also stopped at a car dealership so he could look at Mazda 6's, which is the type of car he is thinking about getting. After driving back to my apartment, I put on my rollerblades and skated around the lake for a while. Since the weather was so great, I pulled one of my chairs out on my porch and sat there with my computer. I went for a photo safari through Cincinnati, starting at UC, and going downtown, then up to Mt. Adams, before heading home. I somehow also managed to have time to go to Joseph-Beth bookstore in Norwood and grab dinner at my sisters house before going to a party up in Fairfield where there were lots of band people that I knew. I was in bed around 1:30 AM.
