April 14, 2004 - At lunch today I used the time to go to a car dealership and look at some Pontiac's. I test drove the Grand Am and didn't really get blown away by it. After work I came back to the dealership and took a good look at the Vibe. It was very appealing to me, so I negotiated a decent deal trading in my Tiburon and getting a new car, all the while saving money on my insurance and my monthly payment. It is not nearly as fast as my Tiburon was, but that is sort of the point, eh? Now I won't be as encouraged to speed. I took the Vibe over to Brett Sova's house to show it to him, and then over to LeAnne Carter's to meet her for dinner. We dined at Dewey's Pizza in Clifton. The pizza was half southwest barbeque and half some kind of really spicy stuff. I could have done without the black beans or as many jalapeno peppers, but I was able to work around those things.
