March 4, 2003 - The most convenient thing about taking showers at night is being able to wake up late and not feel grimy from not having taken a shower. I did have time to shave and change my clothes which was probably good because I don't know how well it would be taken if I went into work with just underwear and some tear away pants. At work I was a few minutes late but I still managed to get a decent parking spot. In the morning I met with a vendor that I forgot I was meeting with but the meeting went pretty well. During my lunch hour I cut out a few minutes early to make the long drive to Autozone way down in Alexandria. Once there I purchased oil and an oil filter and some car cleaning supplies, all for less than the cost of getting an oil change done. On the way back to work I picked up some garbage from Taco Bell. The afternoon went pretty quick and at 5 I left work on a mission to get some stuff accomplished before band practice. My car looked absolutely horrible. To remedy this I washed it quickly using my new car wash purchases, then drove to Kroger to get some dinner supplies. I bought 10 hamburger pre-shaped patties and a bag of baked Lays. This was perhaps my fastest grocery experience because I used the U-Scan which had no line and I am the master of efficiency when using that equipment. Back on the road I drove up 75 to Sam's house in Sharonville and we had a cookout. With the brownies I had baked the night before and all the other stuff it was a good meal. Practice was a lot of fun although I was goofing around more than usual.
