March 11, 2003 - I am hereby declaring that my new silk boxers are my official lucky charm. Today I had three good things happen at work. First, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel for a project that I have been working on for months, second the co-op we offered a job to accepted (which means help for me on my job and projects, and third we actually had incredible passing results on a test that will enable us to offer a product at a competitive cost. This was after horribly failing the test the first time. The test is essentially a 5 foot horizontal flame that gets applied to the end of a bed of cables that are laid out on a horizontal tray (about 20 feet long). The smoke density and flame spread are measured and must meet certain criteria. It is a difficult test to pass so that was good news. Then dinner at band practice was super tasty (thanks to the cooking skills of Brian Hauk) and practice went well. What a great day!
