January 29, 2003 - I went to work. At home afterward I got a call from Mike Barker that Renovators practice was cancelled. That means our gig the following week will have to be winged. The sudden free time meant that I was able to work in my kitchen by putting mud on the ceiling to smooth out the edges of the drywall. The first coat went up alright but I don't have too much mudding experience so maybe the second coat will be better.
