January 20, 2003 - After a short night of sleep I woke up and strolled into work just a few minutes after 8. Today was a demanding day at work. I ended up staying until 5:30 which is half an hour longer than usual. I'm going to try to get more accomplished each day which will probably entail staying longer. However, I am generally against this practice on principles. At home I sat around for a while and then coaxed Josh to go to dinner at the Barrelhouse with me. Unfortunately their website did not agree with the sign on the door because they were closed when we got there. This was the second time in a week that I had wanted Barrelhouse (last Sunday for dinner) and they weren't open. We ended up going to Pomodori's on McMillan up by UC. The pizza was super thick and it was hard to get past 2 pieces but I worked a little on a 3rd. Josh and I went home and I sat around some more.
