January 15, 2003 - Oh the woes of having to wake up extra early to start a day of travel. I was up at 5:45 to drive to Louisville in my stripped down Sunfire. Cruise control would have been very helpful during the drive but I made it there in one piece so I guess it was all good. The flight to Cincinnati from Louisville was on a propeller plane which was a first for me. The plane made so much noise! I slept for the entire flight from Cincinnati to Manchester. Lunch today was a sausage and egg McMuffin from McDonalds and a hash brown patty. My car in Manchester was pretty awesome. It is a Oldsmobile Alero with just about every option. It is fun to drive but not as fun as my Tiburon. My package hadn't arrived at Manchester yet which created a big problem. I was expected to work on a project involving something in the package and this held me up all day, trying to track it down. It was not locatable. At night after work I had dinner at the High Brimmer in downtown Manchester. The food was pricey and not that great. Then I drove to Vermont where I had dessert. They had raspberry cheesecake. It looked gross but tasted really good. I drove home just about ready to fall asleep in the car. There was a lot of snow on the sides of the road (some places had piles 5 or 6 feet tall, with an average of about 12 inches on the ground) but the roads were all clear.
