January 14, 2003 - I spent the day at work trying to finish up as much stuff as possible so that I wouldn't feel the wrath of needing to catch up when I return to work next Monday. Lunch was with Carl Wetterhan at Frisch's. I had the Big Boy, of course. After work I picked up the rental car from Alamo and drove it home in the snow. It is a very basic Pontiac Sunfire. This might be the most stripped down car I have ever driven. The guys from Fisher Effect came over after work and we had a band meeting to talk about issues. After the meeting some of us went to the new Hooters restaurant up on Fields Ertel Road. I was unimpressed with the quality of girls they had.
