February 5, 2003 - A very productive day at work with a lunch break at Lowe's Home Improvement Store was followed by another trip to Lowe's after work to get the thing I intended to get during lunch that I had forgot about (mitre box). Then Steve and I went to Home Depot to buy some building wire because I didn't have enough. We also got a few other things necessary for the job and began working in the basement to install new electrical outlets in the kitchen and in Steve's room that are 3 prong rather than the two prong that already exists. It turned out to be a shocking mess of wires that were not what we wanted to cut and others that were live that we thought were off. I ended up getting the outlet in the kitchen swapped out but Steve's room is still wired up with the wrong stuff. I'll tackle that this weekend.
